scrapjacked.....

Just a quick post today...........

After I cleaned the house today, did the laundry and went to the grocerystore... I deserved some time play in my scraproom:)....

I started with lesson #7 of Marit's workshop and I made this layout for the challenge of ScrapJacked .....

.....Guusje...she thinks she's the queen of the house....

I have used this picture before, It's my fave picture of Guusje and love to use it several times.

Eeks it's already late again... so I'm off to bed now..tired,tired.... The last day's/week I didn't had enough sleep, because of the OlympicGames(ice skating) on tv (it's night overhere when the game starts in Vancouver) and I can feel it now....can't go early to bed anymore and in the morning I can't come out of my warm bed:( Goodnight (or morning or evening) everybody!!!

YESSSSSSSSS......:):):):)......I have my first DT spot!!!!!! I'm a part of the Butterfly Crafts 'Spring' DT...and I'm so excited about that!!! I can't wait to start:):):)


Yesterday I stayed almost the whole day in my scraproom and made this minibook for the challenge of TAAFOMFT....................this time: "What is your favorite memory?" Well I have many favorite memories, but I have choosed for this one.....In 1980 my parents took a stray cat home from the campingside and we named her 'Bosje' (the campingside was in the woods and in Dutch you say 'het bos'....so that's why we called her Bosje:) She was our very first cat.....but 2 months later we had 5 of them:) On 12th October 1980, Bosje gave birth to 4 little kittens in the wardrobe! 4 little, soft, cuddly kittens....my sis and I were so excited about that!!! Yes, this is one of my favorite memories............
....4 little kittens....

Today I want to start with lesson #6 of Marit's workshop 'Let it Loose'....and here are my pages of lesson #4 and #5.......

lesson #4...painting on a picture... doesn't he looks like an Avatar-cat (from the movie Avatar)???

I'm not a painter, but this was so much FUN!!!

lesson #5....on this page I have used a photo transfer on fabric...love this technique!!! The journaling is in Dutch...a poem about the sea......

Thursday I have visit a horse riding lesson of my niece Lotte. Lotte is autistic and she goes to special horse riding for children with a mental handicap...(the pictures are a little blurred)....this time they had a 'voltege' lesson (don't know if I wrote it right....doing tricks on a horse).....

Last week I have received this kit from Corinne Delis.....ofcourse I have paid for it;)...She quit with scrapbooking (for others) and sold alot of scrapbook stuff / surprise-kits.....so it was a little 'party' for me when I received this box...it was loaded with alot of super scrapbooking stuff............I love to give presents away, but sometimes also to myself ofcourse:)...

And another surprise will come my way soon....because I'm one of the winners of the last challenge of TAAFOMFT !!!!

Yehhhh, tonight the Olympic Games begin!!! I'm an ice skate lover, so the next weeks I'll go to bed very late I think....unfortunately I have to work tomorrow evening...so I can't see Sven skating the 5km...:(:(:(

I love to wear dresses...colorful dresses.....
I made this lo for the challenge of TAAFOMFT...this time: 'these are a few of my favorite outfits'....

I love to wear dresses... only I don't wear them often, because where I go I go by bike (most of the time).... and I really can't cycle with wearing a dress;)
The 'mannnequins' I cut out of a magazine and I have made the dresses of textile and plastic table-cloth. I have painted and did some misting on the background, stitching and I have used designpaper of a selfmade fashion magazine.



Another lo I made last night....this one is for the challenge of Scrapping the Music with the funny song from the movie Shrek...I have used the word 'play'. With a picture of my nephew Jurre...when he's playing with his cars he forget everything around him and he's in his own world:)........

Today I want to start with lesson #3 of Marit's workshop 'Let it Loose'....and I'm showing now my first art journals I made..........
....the journaling goes about what I see when I look out of my window.........

...with lesson #2 we had to use silhouttes on our page............

This workshop is so much FUN, with a group of lovely ladies and gorgeous work!!!




Last Sunday I made these little cardboard houses...and ofcourse I want to decorate them..........

En nu over naar de slingers die ik voor de challenge van Just us Girls heb gemaakt... wow wat een gave challenge deze keer... Ik wou al heel lang zelf slingers gaan maken, maar het kwam er steeds maar niet van...dus heb ik er nu maar gleijk twee gemaakt....een voor Valentijnsdag en een voor verjaardagen....

Outside it's terrible weather...so I'll start today with the first lesson of Marit's workshop 'Let it Loose'....wwooohhooooo..I'm so excited about it...I'm going to make my very first art journal page!!!!
 
Buiten is het vreselijk weer...dus een mooie dag om te starten met de eerste les van Marit's workshop 'Let it Loose'...... wwooohooooo...ik heb er zo'n zin in....ik ga mijn eerste art journal pagina maken!!!!
